Is Drag gender appropriation?
My last post on culturally appropriating halloween costumes got me thinking, is drag gender appropriation? Dressing in drag is to dress up in a gender you dont’ identify with. Drag, in a way, mocks gender by parodying and exaggerating it. Not everyone who does drag is a feminist, or knows about women’s struggles.
