I love that he acknowledges that it’s easier said than done, but this does not change the fact that it’s true and you have to do it no matter what. 

Also, I would like to point out and differentiate between this and chronic depression. They are not the same thing and while adopting this kind of mindset can be important and extremely helpful for depression, it can also be extremely harmful if/when it doesn’t work because it is not a cure for severe depression. So don’t just go around telling people this without knowing their full circumstances.
